Beauty That Won't Break The Bank

Beauty That Won’t Break the Bank!

Having a beauty regime that is consistent and caters to your skin is crucial, but it can be costly. There are some really inexpensive beauty tips and tricks that you can do that will help you achieve your skin goals as well as give you optimal results and you may find some of the items used around your house already.

Coconut Oil is great for the skin. It is known to reduce inflammation and can help keep the skin moisturized and it also helps with healing wounds. Coconut oil is packed with fatty acids and has antimicrobial properties that can aid in treatment of acne as well as protect the skin from bacteria that can harm it. Unrefined coconut oil can be rubbed directly into the skin or melted down and added to other products in your regime for optimal results and can be purchased at your local grocery store.

Apple Cider Vinegar is another great, inexpensive product that can be very beneficial to your skin. I personally love the Bragg’s Raw Apple Cider Vinegar. When used properly, it can aid in the prevention of acne and pimples. It is also known to heal sunburn as well as it soothes and exfoliates the skin. Raw apple cider vinegar is also a great toner product and is useful in the removal of age spots and fighting wrinkles. Another way I use Raw Apple Cider Vinegar is to mix it with bentonite clay and do a regular clay mask. It helps remove the impurities in the skin and leaves your face feeling tight and clean.

Sugar is great for the skin. Mixed with unrefined coconut oil, it makes for a great facial. Because sugar granules are round, they are less abrasive than salt which makes for a gentle exfoliant. Sugar is also a natural source of Glycolic acid, so it can break down dead skin layers and smooth the surface areas of the skin. Sugar also speeds up rehydration which keeps the skin conditioned and moisturized. If you are looking for some great sugar scrubs, we have some on our site that are super moisturizing and inexpensive.

Lastly, many people take for granted the benefits that drinking plenty of water have for the skin. When we consume enough water, our body is able to flush out toxins and give us healthier skin. It also helps to improve the skin tone. When we consume the proper amounts of water, it helps our body maintain the proper pH balance as well as helps to keep the skin tight, reduces puffiness and redness to the skin, and helps our body heal quicker. Drinking water is also known to help in prevention of premature aging. Do you find your face to be itchy? Drinking enough water aides in cutting down on the itch we may feel in our skin. And of course, you can grab a case of water from your local store for no more than $4 so its affordable and beneficial to the body as a whole.

Whatever you decide to do today, make sure that you take the time out to care for your skin. It doesn’t have to break the bank to care for your skin and your body will thank you for the time and attention that you take with it.
